C-Stands (Arri or Matthews)
C-stands are primarily designed to hold grip products, they are an effective way of articulating the item they support using grip heads and arms. C-Stands have a fast set up and are very multi-purpose.
The Matthews C-Stand Grip Head Kit: consists of a double riser sliding-leg C-Stand, a grip head, and a 40″ arm. The stand rises to a maximum height of 10.5′. The unique staggered leg design of a C-Stand allows it to be nested and placed extremely close to one another on a set. The top leg of the stand is independently adjustable.

The Avenger Turtle Base C-Stand Grip Arm Kit : features a detachable “turtle” base that can be removed for easier transport. A light head can be mounted to the base directly with the aid of an optional stand adapter. This chrome-plated steel kit includes a 2.5″ grip head and 40″ arm. The innovative design of the C-stand base allows individual legs to be set at any angle, and can be positioned in locations not possible with classic stands.
